A LIFE SIZE LIGHT BRIGHT!!

While the other girls were busy playing Adrienne was admiring the art.
SHE'S A REAL CHAGALL FAN

Dupage Children's Museum was recently voted the best museum in Chicago!
Our kids agree.....they couldn't believe that they were allowed to use REAL TOOLS!!

Here we go again.

By now anyone who knows us well enough to read this knows that we're off again on another adventure. Unlike others we've been on recently, we chose this one ourselves. Why?
There were many reasons. But ultimately the only one that really mattered was that we felt inspired to do it. And we trust that it will work out for the best in the long run.
We'll share some pictures from our spring break road trip/neighborhood hunting trip soon.
In the meantime, here's some classic Black family entertainment, courtesy of Tabetha and our old particle board dresser.

Tabetha Talks

Before we forget them, here's a few Tabby-isms from the past year.

In the middle of a sentence when she forgets why she started talking, she'll say,
"What's it called again?"

Instead of Family Home Evening, she'll say, "Home Family Meeting"

Quoting a favorite movie, "You. Me. Who? Yooo-hoooo!"

Yelling at the top of her lungs from a distant bathroom, "Will somebody pleaaase wipe me?"

And of course her favorite, "I need a snee-ack" or "I'm hungry"

Tab Turns 3!

During our family vacation to the beautiful Smoky Mountain National Park in Gatlinburg, TN our sweet little Tabetha turned 3. Being on vacation in a remote cabin doesn't lend itself to big party atmospheres, but hey she's 3- she doesn't care as long as there's cake and ice-cream and a present or two. We can't believe it's already been 3 years since she was born in Salt Lake. Since that time we've lived in Philly and now North Carolina. Time flies when you're a rambling band of Gypsies.
Here's some party pics:
