Splish Splash

Time is flying. And we haven't posted in ages. These two little mermaids are growing up. And fast.
We wouldn't want the world to see this picture on FB, but it's too cute not to share. Both of them LOVE bath night. Which means, mom and dad do too.

Rub-a-dub-dub. Two sisters in the tub.

Another first for Adrienne

Her first time playing in the sand at the beach.

The Blacks at the beach

We've lived in North Carolina for over a year. And yet, we never took the time to head to the coast. But with our impending move to the cold and Windy City, we decided we needed to pack our suits and head for the beach. We shared an amazing 9 bedroom, 7 bathroom beach home with my brother Doug and his family, and my cousin Erik Black and his family. It was supposed to be a long weekend, but it came and went in a flash. I have a feeling we'll be back to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Or, as they're referred to up and down the east coast, the OBX.

We've gotta do this more often.

Bathing beauty #3.

Adrienne, finally getting the hang of this sand stuff.

Eve, Eliza and cousins seeing how wet they can get without swimming.

Dad helps Adrienne survive the incoming tides.

Missing the mountains a little less at this moment.

Who needs Hawaii?
